I have always been interested in design and staging. Even as a youngster, I would rearrange the room I shared with my sister. I enjoyed displaying our toys and collections on shelves, organizing our closet and helping to select paint colors and fabrics. When I lived in a rented home, I took great pleasure in fixing up the property. In one case, I even removed walls! The landlords were always impressed and asked if I would move into their homes and transform them as well.

All parts of design have impacted my life. With an avid interest in art, I take classes in acrylics, color pencils, watercolors, etc. I believe that this gives me a true artist’s eye for decorating, staging, space planning and more. I would have to say that design, in all its many forms, has always been my passion.
